PAV RJ-45 PIN CONNECTIONS FOR E1 SYSTEMS:-

 

* PAV use pins 1, 2, 4 and 5.

 

* Pins 1 and 2 are the outputs connections from the Interface Modules, i.e. transmit (Tx).

 

* Pins 4 and 5 are the input connections to the Interface Modules, i.e. receive (Rx).

 

* Recommended cable type is UTP (Cat 5) 120, however should 75 coaxial connection be required an RJ45 to BNC Balun is available upon request, free of charge.

 

CABLE CONNECTIONS (RJ-45 PLUG):-

Tx = Transmitter Rx = Receiver N/C = Not Connected

 

Note: Both the Tx and Rx connections are bipolar i.e. no designated polarity.
