SkyCell™ Series
Through the expansion of the GSM mobile phone market it was recognised that there would be an
increased demand for short distance 2 Mb/s G.703 leased lines, a market where we were strong with
the replacement of high speed connections and where we could supply cost effective proven equipment.
The SkyCell™ Series of products is the culmination of over twelve months' development, and
included close liaison with GSM service providers and hardware manufacturers.
The SkyCell™ Series offers a G.703 connection (E1/E2/E3 and multiple E1) and is operational over
distances of up to 4000 metres, making an ideal, cost effective replacement for leased lines or
direct cable installations, between GSM Base Stations and Micro/Pico remote stations (BSC to BST).
